St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis has been feeding the community since 1985, but this week they were left cleaning up broken glass and empty shelves after being hit by thieves not once, not twice, but three times all right before their big Thanksgiving food drive.
Volunteers were heartbroken to walk into the pantry and find most of the food gone. They were preparing to feed dozens of families this weekend, and now they’re scrambling to restock just days before the holiday.
If you want to help, the church is holding a donation drive this Saturday to refill their shelves. This ain’t just about stolen food. This is about people in our city being left hungry days before Thanksgiving. Let’s help them bounce back.
