Looks like one of St. Louis’ most iconic late-night staples is gearing up for a comeback. Uncle Bill’s Pancake & Dinner House, located on South Kingshighway, appears to be under renovation with plans to reopen soon. According to updates from their Instagram page, the beloved 24-hour diner has officially been purchased by a new owner, and changes are already underway.

For many of us especially millennials Uncle Bill’s wasn’t just a restaurant. It was the go-to spot after a night out. Whether you were leaving the club or just looking for some comfort food at 3 a.m., you could always count on their pancakes, chicken and waffles, and a tall glass of orange juice to help you sober up and reminisce with your crew.
The memories made there are deep-rooted in St. Louis culture, and the thought of it reopening has the city feeling nostalgic. We just want to say congratulations to the new owner, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on the progress. St. Louis, it looks like one of your faves is on its way back.
