MAN SHOT AND KILLED WHILE DRIVING IN BERKELEY IDENTIFIED

BERKELEY, Mo. β€” 33-year-old Jamar Johnson has been identified as the man who was fatally shot and killed May 26 while driving on Airport Road in Berkeley.

According to reports, Berkeley police responded around 7:30 p.m. to the area of Airport and Jefferson Roads near the Berkeley Fire Department. Officers located Johnson inside his vehicle after it rolled to a stop outside of a liquor store.

Witnesses described the incident as a rolling shooting. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, the investigation remains ongoing.
