Florissant police led a coordinated sting operation Wednesday morning that resulted in multiple teens being taken into custody in connection with a string of crimes across the city and nearby areas.
The operation involved several agencies, including departments from St. Louis County, St. Louis City, and St. Charles County. Officers executed multiple search warrants targeting individuals believed to be tied to ongoing criminal activity.
Police say the juveniles taken into custody are persons of interest in several offenses, including motor vehicle thefts, car break-ins, robberies, and stealing. During the operation, officers recovered firearms, illegal drugs, and items reported stolen by victims.
All of the juveniles are currently being held at the St. Louis County Family Court.
