Sam Linehan was shot and killed while sitting in the drive-thru of a Starbucks in South City.
The shooting happened in the 2300 block of South Grand Boulevard. Police say Linehan was inside her vehicle when gunfire erupted. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have charged 58-year-old Keith Brown with first-degree murder in connection with her death. He is also facing three counts of first-degree robbery and additional charges tied to other incidents in the days leading up to the shooting.

According to court documents, Brown is accused of robbing a woman and her daughter at gunpoint at a Jack in the Box drive-thru on South Grand just days before. Investigators also allege he robbed a Dollar General on North Grand at gunpoint two days later. The investigation remains ongoing. Sam was loved by so many and was a ice skating coach for Metro Edge Figure Skating.
