Lezley McSpadden-Head who’s son was gunned down by former Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson started the Michael Brown We Love Our Sons and Daughters Foundation about a year after Brown’s death.
McSpadden-Head has now put together a huge fundraising gala that’s meant to support mothers like her who have lost their children.
The fifth annual Rainbow of Mothers Gala is an organization that supports mothers who have lost children through police brutality, domestic violence, illness, and other tragedies.
The organization is also meant to encourage and help heal wounded hearts come together to try to find peace again.
The fifth annual Rainbow of Mothers Gala is set to take place next Saturday August 10th at Barnett on Washington.
