A semi-truck hauling trash lost control this morning on I-70 East near exit 249B to Tucker and Illinois, crashing halfway off the overpass. Trash scattered across the lower highway lanes causing serious delays and safety concerns.
By the grace of God, the driver survived and is okay, just shaken up from the incident. 🙏🏾 Emergency crews are currently on scene managing the cleanup and inspecting the bridge for structural damage.
Drivers in the area are urged to use alternate routes as this scene will take hours to clear. We’ll keep you updated.
This could’ve ended so much worse. Thankful the driver made it out alive.
