RSTLN would like to introduce to you this week’s student of the week, Travis Haughton.

Travis is a junior at Webster University, who is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts. He is a hardworking and an intelligent student with a knack for storytelling. Being so enthused about creating art that tells a story, he chose to major in Film, Television, and Video Production with a minor in Script writing, as well as pursuing a certificate in Entrepreneurship.

This week’s nominee is a talented young man who is self-motivated who always challenges himself to be at his very best.

This past summer, Travis attended the American Black Film Festival (ABFF), where he earned an amazing networking opportunity to attend the American Film Market, located in Santa Monica, California in November 2019!

He is now trying to raise the money to make that trip.

Over the past few years, Travis has been writing a script called, “BLACK in AMERICA” which addresses the constant fears that many American Black families live through day by day.

RSTLN is sure that Travis’ perseverance, dedication and work ethic will continue to take him far. It is with great pleasure to congratulate Travis Haughton as our Student of the Week for the week of September 9, 2019.

Keep up the great work, Travis! The sky is not the limit, it’s only the view!
